Pigmented Lesions or Age Spot Treatment

Why Give Your Age Away?

You may diet, exercise, get enough sleep so you can look your best and yet those awful brown spots still appear on your hands, face and chest making you look older then you are.  Some of these pigmented lesions or lentigines (age spots) develop from sun exposure and some develop simply due to the aging process.  Dr. Riles can help you with both problems.

What is a pigmented lesion?

Melanin is the dark pigment present in our skin. Pigmented lesions occur when there is an over abundance of  melanocytes in our skin. When dark pigment multiplies it can form freckles, age spots and even moles. As we age our skin becomes thinner which allows these dark spots to become more visible.
